Response to the Devastating Boulder Earthquake

Candidate Simon M. Darling responds passionately to the disastrous Boulder Earthquake

There was an 8.7 magnitude earthquake in Boulder Colorado, which was the region's highest and most damaging earthquake. Hundreds of families have been killed, displaced and destroyed by this powerful earthquake. Now the lovely city is in disarray and is in need of help. This disaster cost about 120 million dollars. Now, one of the multiple questions on the minds of those victims is what the presidential candidates of this upcoming election will do about this disaster. 

In an interview with Kathine Ericson, a 19 year-old girl who lost her parents to the earthquake started,” I didn’t plan to vote for this election, but since the tragedy, I have opted to vote for the candidate who is willing to help us get back on our feet. At this time of trouble, we are truly desperate and will graciously accept any help offered to us. It is truly such a tragedy that brings together our country.” 

 When the Darling party heard the news, Mr. and Mrs. Darling donated 100,000 dollars to support workers and people who were in this catastrophe. This money will be used for: workers to help people who were trapped in the rubble, workers to remove the rubble, rebuilding the homes that were destroyed, and repaint these buildings.  As another way to help out both Mr. and Mrs. Darlings came back to there home state and started to help out the people. The Darlings also used there house to help the displaced folk.
